Jennifer Christman, Psy.D.
Dr. Christman is a licensed psychologist in North Carolina and South Carolina. She is nationally credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. Dr. Christman earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology in 2012 from the American School of Professional Psychology, an APA-accredited program in Washington, DC. Dr. Christman was featured in the March/April 2017 issue of Psychology Today.
Dr. Christman has worked in correctional facilities, court systems, and forensic hospitals. She has experience as a regional supervisory psychologist for Doctoral and Master's level psychologists. She specializes in forensic evaluations, both criminal and civil; juvenile assessment; waiver/transfer evaluations; and correctional psychology. She has testified in court regarding forensic evaluations.
Dr. Christman has given professional presentations and workshops on forensic topics such as psychopathy, pre-adjudicatory juvenile evaluations, forensic assessment, mental health training for correctional facility staff, and juveniles with histories of trauma.
